The market community in the segment of floating rate notes requires realistic an adequate prices to evaluate their positions/portfolios. However, the market for FRN hardly offers pricing in line with the market that ist related to actual trading activities.
In reality most price sources leave room for improvement. Their prices are generally not based on real orders or turnovers which results in often large price deviations between the provided and factually correct prices.
The ‘International Floating Rate Notes Exchange (IFEX)’ now offers you an independent real price evaluation source with reliable and markete adequate prices for floating rate notes.
IFEX will start first as an electronic price-information-system which displays all market relevant data as a daily market price list on Bloomberg (IFEX Main Page) and Reuters (IFEX01 Mainpage).
