Strategic Reorientation of the TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH

16 March 2010, Hofheim am Taunus

With a strategic reorientation in the second quarter of 2010 TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH is reacting to the strong corporate results that accompanied the successful start in fixed bond trading and market data vendoring.

Internal restructuring and staff expansion are buttressing the dynamic development of a financial service provider previously focused primarily on the floater segment and now growing into a global specialist for credits.

As of April 1, 2010 the managing directors Hansjoerg Polz and Frank Polz will be changing positions and making up the newly implemented supervisory board of TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH. Also joining the supervisory board is Mr. Matthias Kasanmascheff, with Mr. Hansjoerg Polz taking on the position of chairman of the supervisory board.

Mrs. Margot Polz will remain in her position as managing director of TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH. The newly appointed managing directors are Mr. Joerg Suchomel and Mr. Carsten Ringler. Both men are long standing senior directors of TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank GmbH.

Since 2008 the TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank has been transacting business not only with floating rate notes, but increasingly in the fixed bond segment as well. Comprehensive trading transactions and orders enhance the pricing quality and market depth for both product classes. The staff department will be welcoming up to four new fixed income traders by May, making up a total of 40 employees. The first to join TASS Wertpapierhandelsbank on April 1, 2010 are Ms. Maren Zumkley as a senior trader and Mr. Christopher Sornberger on May 1, 2010 as a junior trader.

The in recent years dynamically growing business field ‘Neutral Pricing/Pay-per-View’ completes the value-added chain of the international credit market specialists in the field of market data vendoring and co-consulting. More than 2,800 neutral and market-driven secondary market prices, as well as the TASS FRN Credit Indices, are being put to use by many traders and staff from internal departments like research, syndication, back and middle offices as well as risk controlling.

Our press office would be happy to arrange an appointment for an interview and offers further information about the company and its range of services.
